The business-orientation and potential new partners

The Finnish Hotel of Tomorrow project is developed as a joint venture with domestic and international companies, the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and its research and development unit, technology partners, customers and hotel industry students.
The Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences is responsible for the development and concept study.

After the room concepts have been published in spring 2008 the project will continue as a room laboratory, where new products and service innovations can be tested in a real-life framework. At that time new prototypes and innovations can be brought in. This will be based on the decisions of the Executive Committee of the project.

As for Tekes, the project will run August 2007 to January 2009. After that the concept development will be carried out by existing and new potential partner companies with the project responsible persons of the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and its School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.
